Israel’s military said it has attacked “military targets” belonging to
Houthi fighters in Yemen after intercepting a missile fired by the
group towards Israel.

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said Israeli forces had
carried out strikes on Houthi military sites, including ports and
energy infrastructure in Yemen’s capital Sanaa.

The Houthi-aligned Al-Masirah TV channel said that a series of
“aggressive raids” were launched on Sanaa and the port city of
Hodeidah early on Thursday.

The attacks “targeted two central power plants” in Sanaa , while in
Hodeidah “the enemy launched four aggressive raids targeting the port…
and two raids targeting” an oil facility, Al-Masirah reported.

This is a breaking news story. More to follow soon.

Netanyahu = Hitler. The comparison is legitimate and is not an
exaggeration; not one iota.

President Clinton getting emotional over
0:05
what over the fact that 25 years ago
0:10
Israel offered yaser Arafat the
0:13
Palestinians a Palestinian State
0:16
everything that they are demanding and
0:18
they turned it down watch
0:23
this and I
0:25
think look I think what's happened there
0:27
in the last 25 years is one of the Great
0:30
tragedies of the 21st century
0:35
and when I tell the young
0:39
people for example who are
0:43
understandably in America they or let's
0:46
say they're super sympathetic with the
0:51
Palestinians well they've been killed a
0:53
lot of those Palestinians have and they
0:55
had all they know is that a lot more
0:58
Palestinians have been killed than
0:59
Israel
1:01
Isis and I tell
1:04
them what Arafat walked away
1:08
from and they like can't believe it I
1:12
said oh yeah he walked away from a
1:14
Palestinian state with the capital in
1:16
East Jerusalem 96% of the West Bank 4%
1:21
of
1:22
Israel to make up for the 4% that the
1:26
settler was occupied that were beyond
1:29
the
1:30
borders in the 67
1:33
war and I go through all the stuff that
1:36
was in the deal and
1:37
they they like it's not on their radar
1:41
radar screen they can't even
1:43
imagine that that happened and I tell
1:46
them you
1:48
know the first and most famous victim of
1:52
an attempt to give the Palestinians the
1:54
state was prime minister
1:58
rabine whom I
2:01
I think loved as much as I ever loved
2:03
another
2:05
man
2:07
and so
2:10
Rabin he dies
2:14
and
2:16
then shimone
2:18
Paris is defeated in the election and
2:21
where the rest of it is history but you
2:24
walk away from these once in a lifetime
2:27
peace opportunities
2:30
you can't complain 25 years later when
2:32
they the doors weren't all still open
2:35
and all the possibilities weren't still
2:37
there you can't do it it's just your
2:39
voice just cracked when you said
2:41
that
2:43
yeah I'm an old guy I have my regrets
2:46
that's one of
2:49
them very very moving moment he has his
2:53
regrets what I suspect though is and I'm
2:56
not sure he doesn't comment on this is
2:58
you know when you regret something to if
3:00
I wish we would have pulled that off but
3:02
actually it would be impossible for him
3:04
to have pulled that off why why do you
3:07
think Arafat turned it down because they
3:10
don't want a Palestinian State that's
3:12
all a guise for removing all Jews from
3:17
Israel so they can have it all that is
3:19
the true story that's why even when we
3:22
offered them everything practically
3:24
everything that they wanted which by the
3:26
way would have been a disaster because
3:29
you give that to people who want to kill
3:31
you now they will have a much better
3:34
positioning to do so God forbid what a
3:37
blessing that didn't happen and the
3:39
irony of the fact that the first victim
3:43
of that was a Jew not just a Jew ahead
3:46
of State our prime minister isak Rin

It's happening with Islam in the West. After all, "You knew I was a
snake when you invited me in."

The Palestinian people have never missed an opportunity to miss an
opportunity.
From the initial 1948 borders, to siding with Iraq when Kuwait was
invaded, to not making a deal with Israel at the Camp David Summit, and
supporting Hamas the Palestinian people are collectively consistent at
making poor choices.

Of course. If the Arabs calling themselves Palestinians agreed to two
states, one for Israel, and one for themselves, that would be them
saying they agree to a state for Israel. And they don't want that. Why
oh why cannot people see this? All the nonsense about "they stole our
land".

This is a religious war. It's not about land, out state or peace.

President Clinton and Dennis Ross negotiated the settlement with PLO
representatives, who kept going back to Yasser Arafat for a "yes" or
"no", and this work continued until they had an agreement. The Israelis
signed, and then the PLO shocked everyone by refusing to sign an
agreement they had approved during negotiations. President Clinton was
devastated, because he had hoped this would be the crowning achievement
of his presidency.

I seem to remember Arafat saying if he agreed to the deal his own people
would kill him.

I have NEVER been a fan of Bill Clinton but in this case I have to give
credit where credit is due. His administration showed the Palestinians a
map of what would be Palestine and they turned it down. As Abba Eban
once said, “The Arabs never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.”
So very sad.

It is very hard for people on this side of the world to accept, to
believe, that this is a religious war. The Palestinians do no want a
peaceful state alongside Israel. They want Israel. Anything else is an
affront to them.
