My high school teacher taught me the easiest way to distinguish between
Templar and Hospitaller is that there is always more blood ritual in
Masonic-Templar lore [vampiric in a sense], and the Hospitallers have a
lot of close association with metal alloys and finely tempered crusade

Khodorkovsky gave up Yukos to his hard-line partners

Imprisoned Yukos founder Mikhail Khodorkovsky confirmed in a statement
through his lawyer that he no longer owns the oil giant. His stake in
the company was transferred to his long-time partner and second person
in Yukos until recently Leonid Nevzlin, currently living in Israel.
Analysts expect that Mr. Nevzlin may be better positioned to fight for
the rescue of the besieged company as he is not in prison, unlike Mr.
Khodorkovsky. Mr. Khodorkovsky may in his turn become an active
participant of social or political life in Russia, although the image
of the tycoon that is associated with him may harm his popularity among
Russian citizens.

One of Yukos co-owners, Mr. Brudno, told the Russian newspaper
Kommersant that the Menatep group is ready to take a more hard-line
position on the trial.

The 59.5% stake in the holding company Group Menatep controling Yukos
was transferred automatically after the sale of Yukos' main asset
Yuganskneftegaz in an auction on December 19, 2004, to cover the
crippling $27 billion tax bill for several past years. The ownership
structure of the firm had a provision that the stake will be
transferred in case of a sale of a sizable asset.

"On that very day, all rights to the 59.5% of shares in the group
(Menatep) were automatically transferred from Khodorkovsky to Nevzlin,"
Russian edition Vedomosti said.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky was arrested in October 2003 on charges of fraud
and tax evasion although many believe that the real cause was his
financial support for the parties in opposition to the current Russian
president Vladimir Putin. Mr. Khodorkovsky, formerly Russia's richest
man and owner of the nation's second-largest oil company, was
estimated to command a fortune of $15 billion. Recently he published an
article in Vedomosti saying "To me the period of big money is in the
past."

"After the Yugansk sale, I'm excused of my responsibility for the
remaining business and the group's finances in general," Mr
Khodorkovsky said. "As I've said, I see my future in public work, and
building civil society in Russia."
