Israeli occupation forces have demolished more than 1,500 Palestinian
structures in the occupied West Bank since the start of the year,
resulting in the displacement of over 3,600 Palestinians and affecting
nearly 164,000 others, according to the United Nations.

Data from the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs
(OCHA) reveals that between 1 January and 29 November, Israeli forces
destroyed 1,528 structures, including 700 inhabited homes, 118
uninhabited homes and 398 agricultural facilities.

The demolitions have primarily targeted vulnerable Palestinian
communities, displacing 3,637 people and severely impacting 163,769
others. The most affected area was the Tulkarm Refugee Camp in the
northern occupied West Bank where 171 structures were destroyed,
followed by the Nur Shams Refugee Camp which witnessed 118
demolitions, Jenin Refugee Camp, Jericho and other parts of the West
Bank.

The Israeli government justifies these demolitions by claiming the
structures were built without permits, although obtaining such permits
is nearly impossible for Palestinians under the occupation’s
restrictive policies.

Israeli demolition policies have escalated recently in the occupied
West Bank and Jerusalem. They are intended to displace the
Palestinians and expand illegal Jewish-only settlements amid the
ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the occupied
Palestinian territories.

It comes despite a landmark opinion by the International Court of
Justice (ICJ) on 19 July, which declared Israel’s decades-long
occupation of Palestinian land unlawful and called for the evacuation
of all settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

The above might get some attention and sympathy if it were not for
Hamas surprise attack over a year ago that killed over 1000,
and them kidnapping well over 200 innocents.
They still are holding and torturing over 100 so called "hostages".
Barbaric fools!

The Palestinian Ambassador to the UN had a meltdown. He lost it while
speaking on stage.

He had a pile of accusations about Israel, and it was so high that he
got altitude sickness.
Not for a moment did it cross his mind to reflect on the situation in Gaza.
He never thought that an unemployment rate of 70% might have been caused
since there aren't too many people who are willing to dig tunnels. If
only the government could promote other businesses that would offer
jobs. But the only competence of this government is to blame Israel.

He also never thought that Gaza ran out of food because the government
never bothered to promote agriculture. (Well, they were too busy with
the rocket industry.)
The Palestinian Ambassador represents a culture with zero ability for
self-reflection. Questioning whether "could we have done it better" does
not exist. The only thing that does exist is "it's Israel's fault."

Next came the Israeli Ambassador to the UN, who answered very calmly:

"For 77 years in this organization, you always said no. You always
blamed Israel. What I am trying to offer you is a future for the
Palestinians in Gaza. But for that to happen, you have to say no to
Hamas. Once you have the courage and the ability to say no to terrorism,
you can speak about the future of Palestinians and Gaza. Say yes to
cooperation. Alternatively, keep going with that blame game; the future
would look as bad as the past 77 years. Your only concern so far was to
blame Israel. It is time for you to start thinking about the Palestinians."

Israel left Gaza to the Palestinians in 2005. What happened to all the
development and infrastructure that Israel left behind?

They blew up the greenhouses and the desalination plants. They used the
steel for weapons to attack Israel on 10/7. Israel needs to keep going
and eliminate all the Hamas and Hezbollah leaders

They need to modify what passes for an educational system in Palestine
as all the current one appears to do is condition children from a young
age to become terrorists.

Israelis deserve better than to have such barbarians as Hamas and
Hezbollah for neighbours. Palestinian civilians deserve better than the
steaming pile of manure that is Hamas run Gaza.

I agree with you 100 percent! 🇮🇱

In 1948 it was a partition which neither Arab nor Jew liked. The Jews
accepted and built one the the greatest countries in history despite
never knowing a day of peace , surrounded by enemies with their back to
the sea. The Palestinians have been perpetual victims, corrupt ,
incompetent, bloodthirsty. There are so many episodes of their self
destructive behavior that books are written. Be clear .. none of this
has anything to do with Israel or the Jewish People… it never has been

Not only did the Israelis build a country for themselves and made the
desert bloom, their technology has benefitted the world far beyond their
shores. Meanwhile, the bile that washes through Gaza has caused problems
in the world far beyond Gaza’s shores. One of these countries is a
blessing, the other is not.
